If you move on to a sales rep or managerial position, your money earning potential would definitely be higher.

Don’t get me wrong, being a vet tech is rewarding when you see animals get better and when their owners are happy to see their pets back to their normal selves. It is quite touching to see the Welcome to The Big Dance 2022 Final Four shirt (2)s between owners and their pets. Seeing all the pets that come in and watching them grow is amazing. However, there is a misconception that being a vet tech is so much fun because we get to play with puppies and kittens all day. Trust me, I wish! I wish I had the time to play with the animals that come in. And well, when they do come in, they are sick. Or dying. Speaking of which, watching an animal die is my least favourite part of the job.
