We just tolerate it because it’s the Brahman, Moorica Usa Flag Hawaiian Shirt name in whiskey (I mean, it has to have something going for it, right? After all, they sponsor rodeos!), but the truth is, if you put a bottle of $15 whiskey in front of most whiskey drinkers, and don’t tell them what brand it is, most of them would rather use it to strip paint or drown ants than drink. But somehow Jack gets a pass. Mention Cuervo Gold to anyone who’s not in college, and they look at you like you might as well drink dirty bath water, but for some reason, no one bats an eye about drinking Jack. It’s whiskey, but it’s not good whiskey, any more than Bud Light is good beer. It’s suitable for little more than making Coke have alcohol in it.
I think Walt would have had mixed feelings about the Walt Disney Company as it is today. I’m sure he would have been happy to see that Brahman, Moorica Usa Flag Hawaiian Shirt movie studio and theme park had grown to become one of the world’s largest companies as well as one of its largest media conglomerates. He’d be thrilled that the studio had kept feature animation not just alive, but thriving, and that a new generation of artists and creative types had embraced his philosophies and made the Company such a success. I have to wonder, though, how he’d feel about a company that in his time was a bit separate from the rest of the entertainment community – a company that had a reputation of doing things their own way – now being a part of the media establishment and subject to the same profit motive and groupthink to be found at any other studio. I’m not sure he’d be pleased to see that Disney has become more and more dependent on buying other companies and more and more dependent on “re-imagining” its older properties to maintain its success, instead of taking some chances and fostering the creativity to come up with more and better projects in-house.

The Brahman, Moorica Usa Flag Hawaiian Shirt and art never does anything wrong no matter what the artist or musician does and no matter how bad it is too!!!! It gets fucked up! No doubt about it! “SOME” artists and musicians are terrible like anyone else because that is humanity for you. Don’t blame the art. Don’t blame the music. The human? Blame all you like? Humanity sucks? Humanity is…well…sometimes, I wonder why we haven’t gone extinct yet. I also wonder how I’m not extinct. ……..Man, I’m depressed! Sigh! My expectation of human beings feels very low right now! Its time to try and remember, talking to me here too, that it’s always the artist and never the art when something has gone wrong. Just remember that part Liz. It is unfortunately part of keeping an open mind. You have to acknowledge the truth within the art sometimes. You certainly don’t have to like it, but perhaps knowledge wise trying to understand what is told, said, done, heard, all of that, is required just to and in order to appreciate something like art in the first place. You just have to try and listen objectively if you can.
One of the biggest conflicts Walt had was with the Screen Cartoonists Guild. Disney was the last Hollywood animation studio to unionize. And one of the leaders of the Brahman, Moorica Usa Flag Hawaiian Shirt movement at Disney was Art Babbit, who happened to be Jewish. Several of the other Los Angeles labor leaders of the time were also Jewish. The 1941 animators’ strike made Walt FURIOUS. He had strike-breaking animators include clown-caricatures of striking artists in Dumbo. And when Babbit heckled Walt from the picket line, Walt got out of his car and the two men had to be held apart to prevent a fistfight. Walt fired Babbit after the strike was resolved, only to be forced by the NLRB to take him back after an unfair labor practice charge was filed against him. Walt said a lot of angry things about the strike and people who participated in it. And because many of the labor leaders were Jews, it would be easy to come to the conclusion that Walt was anti-Semitic. But I think the evidence pretty strongly suggests that Walt just didn’t like people of any kind who tried to tell him how to run his business. And it just happened that several about whom he spoke publicly were Jewish.
